Train hard—fight easy.
Archilochus
There’s an awesome team behind The Rundown Studio who train hard and fight easy. I’m so lucky to be working with them.
I wanted to share this note below from our site’s newsletter. Thomas Brasington, my cofounder, is doing some incredible work in designing and building Pressmate. In fact, everything you see here has been built by him. Here’s his note:
Reflections on 2024 and what's next
We've been incredibly busy behind the scenes. We've reimagined our approach, launched new initiatives, and created practical resources for communications professionals. Here's what we've been working on:
Pressmate: Our Strategic Pivot
While developing our e-learning platform, we discovered a more impactful opportunity. We've shifted our focus to Pressmate, leveraging AI to create practical workplace tools for communications teams.
Our Mission: To provide communications teams in emerging markets with workplace tools that harness Gen AI to make communications faster, simpler, and on point.
Expect more updates as we move from our MVP to an invite-only beta.

New Resource: Election Interference Handbook
In collaboration with Candyce Kelshall and the Canadian Association for Security and Intelligence Studies, Vancouver, we've released a free handbook guiding newsrooms through the mis/disinformation age: "Election Interference and Information Integrity: A Newsroom Blueprint."
Introducing Embedded
Our New Podcast We're excited to launch "Embedded," our podcast series exploring AI's impact on communications. Through insightful conversations with industry thought leaders, we examine how communications practitioners, journalists, and PR executives are navigating emerging challenges in real time.
Video Series
Separately, here is a series of tips we created for you to take in if you’re on the go. It’s a mix of AI and general comms tips and perspectives.Thank you to all our contributors who were generous with their time and knowledge.
Thank you.
None of this would be possible without our incredible team, partners, and community. Your support and feedback have been instrumental in shaping our direction and helping us create more impactful solutions for communications professionals.
